Hi everyone, I'm not sure whether I'm the only one, but I got so used to the native spell checking of Windows that I tend to forget to the spelling. Sometimes it happens because I make a mistake and sometimes it happens because of latency or other issues in an RDP session. Currently I'm using the BPS translation tool and checking the texts in word. Data table attribute gives opportunity to export containing data to Excel using its default configuration, the sole problem is it can only export top 1000 rows, when its quite common to display bigger chunks of data in that form field. Hi there, by using the Designer Desk in 2021.1.3.205 our user made the mistake to use multiple START STEPs while designing a workflow for us. Also it is not possiple to save this work, it would be better, if the user gets an error message, if he/she wants to place another START STEP or it doesnt work at all (like in the Designer Studio). The absence chart lacks to possibility to save personal views as it is possible for normal reports. Only Administrators can add and modify views via the configuration menu. For absence charts the same options from modifying views should be possible as for other reports.
Hello there, we are using a tablet pc at the reception counter for our digital 'guest check-in' process. It's just a seperate Dashboard with a report displaying the current check-in step. We are using the "Auto Refresher" for getting the latest check-in data. Our problem now is, that the smallest interval (1min) is still to long, the maximum value good enough would be 30 sec, otherwise the guest has to click the update button in most of the times cause of the long waiting-time. Dear WebCon Team, the Concat function is a great advantage for text handling. Unfortunately, it is very hard or let's more say inconvenient, if you forgot a text part. In my understanding it is not possible to replace concat parts or even add text parts before or change there position. e.g. concat[Happy][Weekend!] so I would like to say "Happy easter Weekend!" for this I have to delete Weekend! and type easter and then type again Weekend! On reports we have the great possibility to execute mass actions by passing in some parameters. It would be a great having a similar kind of dialog menu action, where we can configure some informational text (e.g. as header/footer) and of course one or more fields as parameter. The configured parameters we then can use to execute an action. The dialog could contain a cancel and a okay
WEBCON BPS reporting offers great functionality for sorting, filtering. It would great having the option to implement and configure a SDK extension for reports, which would allow to execute an action based on the current selection. In my case the SDK extension would receive the selected rows with all fields and generate an advanced Pdf report. Like configuring the mass action, there should be an option to configure the SDK action. Like picking the right extension, title and maybe an icon. Som (...)
There's currently not an easy way to identify versions which have been created in administration mode. The attached picture shows two changes. Both were done using the admin mode. Unfortunately this is not visible for the second one where the admin added a comment. Maybe a new column could be added or a different colour could be used for versions created in administration mode.
Hi, so HTML attributes are great, but only untill you try to do something with them - like hide for example... or export - import Seems like you keep them all in a single SQL field:-( So, some JS manipulation is needed, rule editor is useless. Can you make normal HTML attributes - every attribute in separate SQL field?
It would be great if an option would be added to place the field name above the picture field, like it is available for the 'multiple lines of text' field. Hi, in BPS 2024 an option was added to the license that customers can use SDKs provided by partners without an SDK license. This is made possible by providing the public key which is then somehow integrated to the license. I'm wondering whether it would be possible to also integrate the WEBCON and partner Microsoft Entra Id domain names. Hi, I just noticed, that the "Uniform view of all item list cells" check box has been removed. It's not the case that I wanted to activate it, but I wanted to deactivate it. The reason for this is, that the uniform can take up way more space than a mixed one. Especially if there's a multi line column. According to the documentation it should be there but it does neither exist in the UI nor in the XML configuration in version 2025.1.1.105. I assume that in this case the documentation was (...)
At the moment default serch mode for Value filter in reports is set as "Starts". It would be very handy to let decide Admin what defaul search mode is set for a specyfic atribute (Starts or Contains).
Hi. we've implemented some global form rules e.g. a developer on screen mode that displays meta data of fields (instead of turning on dev tools) - a knowledge base article will follow later. Small work in progress preview teaser in the attached screenshot. ;) Right now it is necessary to add this global form rule to all main form behavior sections manually to get this loaded. Hello, I propose a change in DEsigner Studio, in action templates. If the ability to create action groups in templates were added, it would make it easier to manage actions in the case where there are more than 10 in the process.
