Dear Community, does anyone have any experience installing WEBCON BPS Standalone version on SQL server Web Edition? Tried to find you if this version of SQL server is eligible to use with WEBCON BPS but didn't find anything accurate. From technical perspective it should work (required full-text search feature is available). With this SQL server Web edition license costs can be significantly reduced (i.e. in Azure workloads). When trying to import an application, WEBCON BPS Designer Studio tells that the operation fails. I may check if the role "Import" as been started for the actual database. Where can I check this? Where can I activate this role? Thanks for any help. ---- Issue solved: The "basic role" message has been shown due to the fact that the BPS service was in "Safe Mode". The "Safe Mode" issue - in this case - has been solved by updating the license information and restarting the service (...)
Hello folks, The query in the attached image is not working in the designer, but working flawlessly on the same DB in the MSSQL Management Studio. Is there the possibility that the designer somehow does not like "ROW_NUMBER" function? Or is it a Webcon bug? I hope someone has experience with this already. Thanks in advance :)

Hello all, How is it possible to select a choice field item by index? The choice field(A) has a placeholder ("empty" in attached image) and a dynamically read value. And on value change in another choice field(B), this value is being added to the choice list(A), but I also need to have this new dynamic value selected as right now it is just queued under the placeholder. Is there a way to do this through webcon standard or programmatically? Thanks in advance :)
Hi all! We have to transfer some values from old database fields to new database fields, since we want to switch some fields in process to global fields. We plan to do this with well know T-SQL statement (UPDATE WFElements SET ...) within a cyclic action, which can be triggered on demand. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions in Webcon SaaS (Software as a service) regarding SQL UPDATE or is it allowed to do such thing? Thanks in advance & best regards, Nik
Hi, I am populating 'WorkflowID population' form field based on the 'Select Marketing support' selection. Select Marketing support is basically the the type of the request. upon Marketing support selection, populating it's Workflow ID in the 'WorkflowID population' form field. Once that is populated, I need to set a default value 'Workflow name - test' form field. I found a problem on WEBCON with regular expression. In the attributes, in the "Style and behavior" tab, in the Regular expression for validation field. In my case, I set a limit to 11 digits (11 characters long, as in the Polish PESEL number) - "\ d {11}" to be precise. This regular expression works and detects the shorter string as bad. She recognizes even 11 digits as correct, that's good. More characters (e.g. 12 and not recognized as an error and allows you to proceed further on the form. (...)
Dear Community, Is there any possibility to improve quality of handwritten signature in WEBCON? Currently it is very pixelized and added to document (Word / PDF) doesn't look well. I didn't find any options or parameters to improve quality. Dear Community, I have a question regarding attachments database. Size of the database is quite large and I'm trying to find optimizations here. Table / index compression is not a solution - compression ratio is barely reaches 0,5% level. I have found a lot of records in this database where attachments are deleted (column ATF_IsDeleted = 1). Is it safe to remove such records from database or it will make inconsistency of the data? Do you have any experience in it? Looking forward for any (...)
Hi All I need to ask for your help :) This time I need to update permissions for tasks on separate processes/applications, not linked together. Let's say I want to give permission to read a document for some domain user or user group. The problem is that I can't modify these processes. I cannot modify data from the database side because the manufacturer forbids it :/ My idea is to create a new process and use it to update permissions on other processes/tasks, but I don't know if it is (...)
Hey! I'm wondering if it's possible to disable the attachments on the form. I don't want to hide them, I just don't want the users to add new or delete existing ones. Any ideas how to implement it? Thanks, Martin
Hi all! We have a tricky problem, so it seems. We want to redirect to edit form of another workflow (ID is known). This should be triggered with button click on current form. Button is implemented as Html field and invokes a global menu action which has the correct hyperlink action and also returnUrl to current element. After save of the other workflow element, user should be redirected to current form element. Before redirect to the other workflow, current item should be saved. (...)
We have to now comply with SOX and part of the requirements is to list all WebCon apps and permissions/priveleges for each level and the groups/people in them. Is there an easy way to dump all permissions/priveleges for all apps to a text file, pdf or other? If not I'll have to go through and take screenshots of each in designer!
Hi, I have such a problem. At some step in the process, there is required approval for costs. The task is signed to first person, but he is on sick leave, thus the task is assigned to a substituter, but a substituter is also on sick leave, so the task should be assigned to substituter of substituter, but isn't. I have a requirement to create dictionary to enter form name, Step name, no.of business days. Form name and step name combination need to be unique and a validation error message should show if the user tries to post a entry with the same form and step combination that already exists in the dictionary. I have 3 different forms with different steps in a flow. I entered 1st entry as form1, Step1 and 1 day, saved it second record as form1, step2 and 2 days, saved it. 3rd record as (...)

Hi community! We have 2 Webcon farms (DEV/TEST/PROD) with the same application (6 servers in total). Our deployment chain is from Farm1 (DEV), which is the application source to all other servers. We have defined a global constant for Portal Url, which is used in whole application (for redirects and so on). This scenario works fine on one farm.
