Hi Björn,

the short answer is, no it's not and I have no idea how change it.

If I remember correctly, there's also a User Voice regarding this, that there should be a switch to change the default behavior of the link and the icon.

Best regards,
Daniel

═╚╝╚╩╩╩╩╩╩╩╝═╚╝╚═╩═╝

Thanks Daniel,
I will post a new USER VOICE, if the other one is older.
Would be perfect, if there would be just a switch field.

Have a nice day,

I'll add to this, that you can always use regular mouse scroll click to open link in new tab (although i background).
Option is not really configurable, but old good scroll click does the job as good as on any other website :)

I've tested also some shortcuts:

Ctrl + LFM -> Works same as mouse scroll click
Shift + LFM -> Opens new tab, but moves focus to the new tab
Ctrl + Shift + LFM -> Opens new tab, but moves focus to the new tab

Thats good point, so user voice is needed anyway :)

Hi Björn,

while using Unicode for formatting text my be suitable for LinkedIn, I would advice against it in the community.

Even if the search get's improved, it won't be able to find unicode text.
After all I'm using a regular keyboard and the characters are mapped to a code which differs from the Unicode value.

Try to search ones for using copy and paste
